Construction process for a Unit of geisha looking wardancers.

Research on existing  28mm geisha oriented models, then on historical and current Japanese gaisha.

It quickly became obvious that most geisha minis out there either looked to ceremonial stiff or sexualized beyond melee ability. But they all added to the mental image of what came to be; a kimono clad ceremonial female able to wardance [MESMERIZE] in melee. Also the kimono clad Unit shoud have some hand weapons usable in wardancing, so spears and even katanas was determined to bee too cumbersome or long -and claws was never a thought.

So I decided to go for spiked fans, that could be used both for slashing and puncture hits as well as parrying. In my research for shrine bells I had encountered Suzu[1] and they were just the right thing for the other hand. So, these was added in a spiked stiletto version with 3 rings of poison released through vents to the small bells attached.

Noticed that Odori dancers performing the day dance, always wore a classic straw hat, so i added that as an option to bare headed or FEAR causing Kagura masks. Also noticed that Odori dancers performing the night dance, most often carried a lamp. So I added this as an Option too, thus equipped they can make a FIRE attack at 1st round of game Melee. Also, tipped their sandals, so that they wardance as Odori dancers -weight at the 1st rib/toe-tip.
