Research on existing 28mm japanese oriented shrine models, then on historical and current Japanese shrines.
It soon became obvious it had to be the roofed pillars carried by a crew, rather than a chart I wanted to create.
As some sort of distinguishable from other shrines out there, I wanted to add a Shimenawa[1] somehow and I quickly decided on Dōtaku bells above vestern church bells, gongs or horns. As the hoarse stumped clacking of those would be a good background sound for the crews rite-chants (background theme).
At first the plan was to have x bearers extending out at the sides from the 4 side towers. But that was not smart base- and rank-wise. So, I turned it 90 degrees and had the carrying pole going along the model, with room som someone inbetween sidetowers -also limited it to 4-8 bearers.
ToDo; Create a base with crew footprints making assembling easier. Alter the amount on main pillar bottom studs, slice roofing rolls into 3-4 pipes and taper, add balls to sideleg-roofing deco-tops, add some sort of deco to the four outermost roofing roll tops/ropeholding-plank ends. Print. Paint. Redo process.

Lowered cornerpillar bottom studs from to 3 and centre pillar bottom studs studs to, 10 and enlarged so they are easier to paint. Added deco-rings to handle-holes and made it so shrine can be carried w. bells for-/backward or sideways. Fixed a main-straw error on a bearers hat. Added ball deco to 4 roof-rope-holding corners. Retiled the roof. Added rpelige bearer poles with dolphins.
