Arctic
This group mostly lives in the hills and highlands of Darin, but they are also encountered along the Rim or in high mountain areas of the Realm. Many are hunters or fishermen; some are farmers and herders. A few are shamans, seers, and spirit talkers.
CULTURE
Clothing and Decoration: crude hide and fur tunics with leggings and rough overcoats, short cloaks, and hats.
Fears and Inabilities: Numerous superstitions, notably a fear of spirits.
Lifestyle: Hunters and gatherers who live in small families and reside on farmsteads. Extremely gifted storytellers.
Marriage Pattern: Monogamous, but one must marry outside the family.
Religion: Devoted to the “True Gods.” Oral traditions are crucial to the preservation of histories and laws.

Demeanour: vocal and animated. They love to talk, laugh, and sing.
Prejudices: They generally hate the Mariners; many also despise Nomads and Highlanders.
