Guilds
Legend
“As a result of the freedom found in the towns and cities, people began securing their livelihoods by forming guilds. Not only to secure a certain level of income but also to ensure a certain amount of quality among those competing or sharing the area of performance.”
History
The origins of guilds are lost in the mist of time. But the first recordings we have are from around the year 873, mentioning guilds already a hundred years old. It is believed they began to form as rural people started to migrate into towns and cities as the Great War ended.

Branches
Today, there’s hundreds of guilds spread out across The Realm. A result of branch specialisation over time. And despite a trend of re-merging that began prior The Great Invasion, that process was slow and halted as The Realm dissolved.
