Description

The temperate climate is the one between tropical and frostlands, a broad belt where neither heat nor cold doth reign, with region climes depending if the area is coastal or continental. They have temperatures that are typically lower than tropical or dry climates. Seasons flow in harmony, distinct but not extreme.

Temperate lands are blessed with moderate weather, where the balance between warmth and coolness is maintained throughout the year. Their summers can be warm or hot, and their winters tend to be mild. They have less precipitation than tropical regions but more than dry regions. Rainfall is regular, ensuring fertile soil and allowing a variety of flora and fauna to thrive.

Where the temperate zone meets the tropical, the climate becomes warmer and wetter, creating lush landscapes. Meeting the continental zones, the temperate regions experience more pronounced seasonal changes, with moderate winters and milder summers, a blend of both extremes. People also call these areas Mildmarsh.
