Page 1 of 2Next

Each Unit has the following stats on their Unit Card:

  • Amount - models in the Unit
  • Move - CM the Unit can traverse on normal terrain
  • Die - amount of combat die
  • Reach - CM Unit models melee damage reach
  • Range - CM Unit models missile damage reach
  • Strength - Racial subtype value that is part of Attack Impact Modifier (AIM)
  • Morale - number needed to roll equal to or less than to pass a Morale tests
  • Armour / Barding / Shield - values added to Protection
  • Health - number of Wounds Models can sustain before being marked as casualty
  • Cost - of the Model/Unit

There are also abilities and equipment on unit cards.

(M) Morale: Is used to;

  • avoid breaking and subsequently fleeing when losing an engagement
  • rally fleeing troops
  • take all tests that involve psychology.

Some mounts has a +X number as health. This is added to their riders profile.

Generals and some other Units can buy up to a maximum of 8 Command Levels. Amounts are indicated in their Army lists.

Unit Stats 0.1.0

Changed it to 4 stats:

Added the stat 'Range' to reflect how far the model can reach out with it's damage in a melee/missile action.

Also changed Morale die to D12.

From Wikipedia;

"Compared to other land animals, humans are exceptionally capable of endurance, but incapable of great speed."

I find the above quote a great summary for why and how, a tabletop games movement/charge should work.

Take any in game Unit* and set its general movement distance (pace), and give it a charge distance (sprint speed) as well.

Then you would have movement like: [X:Y]

Unit Stats 0.2.0

Changed movement and reach factors from CM to INCHES

Unit Stats 0.3.0

Added Attack Strength.

Note that a Unit can have Range/Range and Strength/Strength if it has several Weapons.

Unit Stats 0.3.1

Fixed the description of the Morale roll.

Unit Stats 0.4.0

Unit Models can have 1+ Health and Hits inflict 1 Wound per attack Strength above their Armour. Thus Health is added as Stat.

Missile Wounds may be distributed amongst Unit Models as owner sees fit.

If a Unit loose its last Model one of that Unit Type Tokens are removed from the Token Pile

Unit Stats 0.5.0

Wounds may be distributed amongst a multihealth Units Models as owner sees fit, until it begins to suffer casualties in which case its the opponent who decides which Models within weapon range be removed.

Unit Stats 0.5.1

Wounds inflicted upon a Unit is summed up per model and as soon as Health is 0 models are laid prone. Thus unable to fight back in the current Phase, they can be Healed if a Healer is activated. If not Healed, they are removed as Casualties at Phase end.
