History

It’s still the main gate of traffic from most of Darin to most of The Realm. And with several harbours, there’s plenty of room for a good deal or a well-paid job as a goods transporter or caravan guard. The country had switched from mining to agricultural production as its main revenue. But due to The Great Invasion many farms were razed, farmers killed, and livestock slaughtered. So a lot of old mines were reopened for war production, and they still produce.
