History

With very few exceptions Animals consume organic material, breathe air, can move, reproduce, and go through a birth-growth process similar to the Races. There are hundreds of thousands of species; we are still counting and estimating the millions.

They vary in length from extremely tiny to gargantuan and have complex interactions with each other and their environments. The Scholars who study animals are known as Zoologists. Generally, they divide animals with or without blood flow.

The races use animals in many ways, such as for food (including Meat, Milk, Eggs), for materials (such as Leather and Wool, as Pets and Working Animals), including for transport. Dogs and some Birds have been used in Hunting.

Nonhuman animals have appeared in art from the earliest times and are featured in mythology. and Religion.
