Legend

“Suddenly a mere peasant, a most humble straw in the lawn of nobles and heroes… finds itself not only in a situation but truly finds its inner self—and stands out.”

Skjald Sigurd

Description

Ever since the first mana thread was spun into a sentient being, there have been those for whom existing quietly has been all they coveted. Yet, amongst these slow-growing but sturdy supports for the wildgrown, there were those who, in the face of peril or opportunity, displayed a stem and will of outstanding measures. A character, though, might stand out in a situation, but contrary to heroes, most characters quickly fall back to ordinary life. It’s a rare few that manages to live the rest of their life on the glory or spoils of their deed. And even fewer elevates.

Skjald Valgrif

Organisation

Characters are generally unbound to nobility and most often have their roots amongst the common folk or administrators of society.

Special

What sets a character apart is the determination they display whenever the extraordinary unfolds, in that they at times even outshine heroes, as characters generally live in the present.
