With great joy, Kings and guildmasters of old reveled in the protection and pleasure bestowed upon their dinners by the miraculous Noavutile herb. In an era marred by the constant threat of poisoning and treachery, herbalists tirelessly sought the perfect antidote for “bad food.” Kharten Kjernis, a bold adventurer and seasoned herbalist, embarked on a fateful journey through the wilderness and stumbled upon an enigmatic encounter that would change the course of history.

In a time long before the “Time of Hordes,” the dangers of dining at rival feasts loomed large, as nefarious plots and sinister schemes often lurked behind seemingly lavish banquets. Seeking the ultimate safeguard against such threats, Kharten Kjernis found himself harvesting in the remote wilderness, guided by intuition and a desire to protect his people from harm.

As he delved deeper into the wilderness, the sweet sounds of laughter reached his ears. Intrigued, he stealthily followed the source of mirth, only to glimpse two elusive and ethereal female Ljost Alfar, nature’s guardians and keepers of the forest. As soon as they sensed his presence, they vanished like the morning mist, leaving behind a trace of the herbs they were gathering.

Undeterred by their swift disappearance, Kharten Kjernis deduced the herbs that were harvested and brought them back to his sanctuary to experiment. Among these herbs was the elusive Noavutile, a herb of astonishing power.

The legend of Kharten Kjernis’ discovery of Noavutile continues to inspire Human herbalists and adventurers to this day, and the herb remains an enduring symbol of protection and pleasure, adorning the tables of wise and cautious rulers throughout the ages.

Noavutile boasts a single robust stem adorned with dark green leaves, alluring pink flowers, and delectable red-orange berries. Its appearance alone is captivating, but the true treasure lies within its seeds, which hold unparalleled potential.

Preparation: To unleash the full potency of Noavutile, its berries must be carefully dried for an extensive period of five weeks. Once thoroughly dried, the seeds are gently and meticulously extracted from the berries, eventually forming a fine-grained powder.

Use: The refined Noavutile seed powder is then discreetly administered, dropped into drinks or sprinkled atop food before consumption.

Effect: Noavutile acts as a powerful counteragent to ingested poisons. When consumed alongside a potentially tainted meal, it neutralizes the effects of harmful substances, safeguarding the consumer against the insidious threat of poisoning.

The uniqueness of Noavutile is not only in its protective properties but also in its delightful taste. Like a culinary masterpiece, it delights the palate with the flavors of vanilla and a hint of cherries. However, this delightful taste has a strategic purpose. To ensure that no uninvited dangers go unnoticed, tasters and herbalists may add Noavutile to dishes, signaling the esteemed guests that precautions have been taken to ensure their safety.

While Noavutile proves itself as a remarkable protector, it must be noted that it does not guarantee complete immunity from all effects of ingested poisons. Though it prevents the death of a person poisoned during the meal, they may still fall grievously ill. As such, Noavutile serves as an invaluable tool in the realm of protection against treacherous plots and sinister machinations, allowing dignitaries and leaders to partake in their feasts with newfound security and tranquility.
