History

Its known that Ironthorn originally was limited to Ljostari Isle, but when the Ljost Alfar and Vular hostilities grew. Mawmen and a few other Races, especially Moss'ari, fled Ljostari and brought Ironthorn siblings with them to the new settlements across the World.

Ironthorn are thus now growing across the World, but as good as all known locations are guarded by Moss’Ari or Kobold.

It grow very slowly and is shapable when young, thus do many guardians tend the branches so they grow uínto desired shape. As it age it becomes hard as steel able to withstand blows and cuts from the sharpest of swords and axes. Its thorns are razor sharp and it is very leightweight and thus preferred as armour or weapon shafts.
