History

Dark Ages

Of their time in the void, prior to entering the astral, they have only vague memories of distant coloured glows, sudden flashes we assume are further taintings by astral leaks, and shadows nearby shunning the illuminations. Yet of all the, well, in fact, scattered glimpses of events so many millennia ago, one thing can be extracted: when they entered the astral, more than half of them were consumed by their own careless energetic releases or by the matter and form dissolving nature of the sea of mana.

When they had entered the astral and began mastering its energising swirls, they began weighing, measuring, and forming those energies. Seeing how the carefully spun Threads reacted to things already in the void, they kept on experimenting. Their work in the astral, taking all their focus and time, was tedious for some who preferred exploring back in the void. This constant living within, or merely visiting the astral, seemingly made these once-united divine ones part into two different races, of Vornir and Boriac.

Entering the astral they noticed silhouettes in the void…

Figured it rotated around in itself and born was time…

With coloured energies spun into threads they toyed…

Changing leaks into short lived threads not a crime.

First Age

The only time they as a whole came out of the astral and onto our world was when the 1st Cataclysm unfolded and almost destroyed everything. It must have been Gods setting the unforseen stage, as the vornirs hastly Hymn of Truenames did not have the effect planned and it cost them dearly.

Organisation

They live in the astral, remote from all other races and seemingly have no ranked social system. And I’d love to treat such one at a proper dined table.
