History

This collection of nasties goes all the way back to before the major Hordes as such gained their balance around 1000 FA. We do not know it for certain, but we suspect it will form around 850. When Nikko 'The Archmage' Lia started to use his Arisen brother in revenge against the Mawmen. Luckily, their ranks had been declining since, but around 1175, they began growing in numbers and power again.

They were the main opposing factor in the 1st Alliance attempt to create The Realm and an elected High King. Their unwillingness to join or accept the cause resulted in a brief, brutal open civil war, which they lost in 1149.

Organisation

It’s unclear how they were or are organised, but they acted as a council with no clear leader. Which showed in their at times inconsistent strategies, leading to their defeat and making some Bend the Knee an oath they later broke.
