Legend

History

Abbamol Pesti was no ordinary Herbalist; he had a reputation for delving into Monster hunting and for scaring away any potential apprentices or competitors. However, his peculiar endeavors led him to numerous intriguing discoveries, some tracing back to the time when The Void was laid bare. It was during one of these encounters with a fearsome Monster that he chanced upon Dogauk. By a stroke of fortune, Abbamol’s resilience allowed him to resist its aftereffects, and he was able to defeat the wounded Monster by consuming more of the herb.

Description

Dogauk appears as a peculiar mushroom with potent effects. Upon consumption, the herb imbues a person with a burst of energy, doubling their rate of movement and attack for three rounds. However, this surge of power comes with a cost, as the person must undergo a crucial saving throw versus poison once the effects subside. Failure in the saving throw results in the individual collapsing in exhaustion for 1d6 turns.

Caution

After the primary effects wear off, the person must be wary of the herb’s aftermath. A vital saving throw versus poison will determine whether they succumb to exhaustion or endure the fleeting potency of Dogauk for an extended duration (1d6 turns).
