History

Dark Ages

Silver is a shiny, whitish, soft, lustrous transition metal. Discovered by the Wickeryadi, before the Boriac returned from the Astral. Thus, silver is from before the Vornir began their Truenaming.

First Age

As our World was formed, the energies released by the Divine Races moved Void Gardens around. silver as it has the highest electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of any metal. Thus creating ores of silver, running deep like veins of the earth. It means that it is found in the Earth’s crust in its pure form, an alloy with gold and other metals, in Minerals such as Argentite and Chlorargyrite.

Second Age

Most likely, it is because silver originally stood outside the Vornirs true name that it is so damaging to Vampires. Or it is its inate abilities to lead energies that are such a discomfort to ‘the embraced’.

Third Age

While it is more abundant than Gold, it is much less abundant as a native metal. Yet it became a valued precious metal, also used in many bullion coins, sometimes alongside gold. Other than in currency and as an investment, silver is used as jewellery, ornaments, high-value tableware, and utensils in Alchemy and as Ingredients.

Most silver is produced as a byproduct of Copper, gold, Lead, and Zinc refining…

Purity measured per mille… a 90% pure is thus 0.900 fine.
