History

Dark Ages

As the Boriac had noticed, Lewesia Gneiss resisted further Mana tainting, regardless of how influenced. They began using that rock type for Astral Site/Gate sealing Earthnodes. In time, they came to notice that Gods avoided Void Gardens sealed; thus, they began researching why. When they realised Lewesia Gneiss not only resisted the Astral mana flows but also limited Godly manipulation, they implemented Lewesia Gneiss in as much Items and Objects as they could. And when they created our World, they hauled as good as all void gardens with Lewesia Gneiss into what became Ljostari, both to attempt taming Mt. Ljostia and create a safespace without gods.

Second Age

I might be inclined to state that if gods could predict the future, the whole Vampire thing was orchestrated by them. The result of the 1st Cataclysm resulted in the astral tainting of most Lewesia Gneiss. Suddenly, it could, although only with a great deal of power, be manipulated. Thus, not all astral sites and gates that perished were due to the world’s tilting and earthquakes. Some were, according to Thursar and Ljost Alfar, destroyed by gods.

The Dwarves of the almost untouched Mt. Ljostia, who praised Thursar and not gods, Created several quarries and began to export large amounts of untainted and even slightly tainted Lewesia Gneiss. Stones that were used in worldwide repairs or the construction of new sites or gates.

Fourth Age

Some think the Vular was misguided and fooled into attacking Ljost Alfar, Dwarves , and Kobold. The gods were the masterminds behind this, as the source of Lewesia Gneiss was sunken, the distributing Dwarves were destroyed, and the sweep of the Deep Blue Tsunami further tainted Lewesia Gneiss. A large number of new and old sites and gates were destroyed, became defunct, deathtraps releasing lightning from above, or instant dissolution of any astraveler attempting use.

Boriac and Archaic, out of untainted Lewesia Gneiss, turned to Dwarves allies who had untainted stock. During this rebuilding process, they found out that Lewesia Gneiss could now be Enhanced into Magic devices, such as mirriors, doors, portals, and the like, to and from the Astral.
