Mt. Dolga

Legend

Stamping boots, laughter, and wine-cheering have always echoed at Mt. Dolga.

History

Fourth Age

For each and every disaster… this crude knoll of rock…has become ever rougher…

Now so harsh… that only Miners and Hunters… visit the cracks and aces…

Of course there’s also… the Fautyrs of Yaqziala.

Cartography

One of the red mountains, at the Border between Claun and Esly, East of the two steepsided passes Jemva's Crack and Hilomar's Cut lies the jagged mountain maze of Mt. Dolga.

High up its eastern side lies Yaqziala in a huge kettle. An odd Settlement for Fautyr, as its eastern end is unusally carved into the rocks. But they now form a natural defence against anyone coming up to visit. Down in the lower foothills lies Vamilta, with Vamilta's Bridge leading into the narrow Vamilta's Valley, ending at Vamilta's Stairs, who leads across to Esly.

On the south side, Kanul, Lumga, and Marronal are three Towns along the main road there.

Organisation

The mountains are governed by the King of Esly to the north. Baron Liu Hjortsfod and Count Agger Fjeldmose govern the Claun side, and the Fautyr manage their own turf.
