Mt. Vula
Legend
“Dormant since dawn of time, it was a Sailors landmark of Ljostari. But when the Vular attacked the Ljost Alfar and many other Races and Gods threw themselves into the fray, It erupted and engulfed the greatest heaven, changing it into a craftsman’s dream.”
History
Dark AgesWhat became Mt. Ljostia… was one of those Astral leaks… Boriac could not seal… so it kept growing as an untamed Void Garden…
Skjald Kazumix
First Age
The Boriacs threw the untamed void garden into the sea, helping it seal the astral where none would encounter it. But it grew and grew, and when all released the mayhem of the 1st Cataclysm, it raised itself above sea level. Towering high above Ljostari

Second Age
With the great effort made by divine races and outstanding Mana Manipulators, the leak became a somewhat controlled volcano.

Third Age
With the coming of the Wanderers and the Vulars persistent drive to control the area, as well as their dominant presence and the Ljost Alfar living remotely, The mountain’s name slowly changed to Mt. Vula. Then, it became the battleground for the most fierce release of Magic known. The energies released became so powerful that they began ripping both Mana Manipulators and Gods apart, using their energies to feed themselves. Eventually it built to such force that it ripped apart the fabric that separated the Astral and our World.
This ‘rain of rainbows’, as the few surviving Ljost Alfar from that time call it, created a fabric soup that polluted the sea around Ljostari as it sank into the waters, which thus gained the name The Deep Blue. As the island crumbled, tipped, and sank, many tried to flee; some even foolishly tried to use Astravel. Thus, it’s said that at times, people travelling the Astral can hear the moaning, sobbing, and screams of some of these unfortunate fools.
Only the mountain, formerly known as Mt. Ljostia as such, survived the sinking, but it’s now truly Mt. Vula, a remote island. Covered in magic mist, preventing people from reaching it through the physical plane, it is now only reachable through Astravel.

After the eruption, Mana kept leaking from the Astral, through The Void, into the volcano. Gods, Vornir, and everyone else couldn’t stop it, so this’swirling rainbow rain’ keeps pouring into Mt. Vulas hot molten lava.
The energies released created many new tunnels of emerging steam from the main chamber, which was once a proud Dwarves realm. Eventually, they managed to get the flow under control, stabilising it to such an extent that the area could be entered, and they met some odd beings. Born of a molten world and raw mana, fuzed by the void, they were named Lava Imp's, feeding on the energies raining down, which keeps them hot, animated, and thinking. They are exceptional Crafters and willingly teach, aid, and learn, alongside the world’s finest of all other races in the Great Kettle.
