History

It’s known that Ironthorn was originally limited to Ljostari. Isle, but when the Ljost Alfar and Vular hostilities grew. Mawmen and a few other Races, especially Moss'ari, fled Ljostari and brought the Ironthorn siblings with them to the new settlements across the world.

Ironthorn is thus now growing across the world, but as good as all known locations are guarded by Moss’Ari or Kobold.

Special

It grows very slowly and is shapable when young; thus, many guardians tend the branches so they grow into the desired shape. As it ages, it becomes as hard as steel, able to withstand blows and cuts from the sharpest of swords and axes. Its thorns are razor-sharp, and it is very lightweight and thus preferred as armour or weapon shafts.
