Skjald Yell'a'Beard

 

History

Born on April 3, 1101 in Walisto, the most Northern of Towns at Neany Peninsula in Amrad. Where his parents had a large Dyers Workshop. During childhood, he displayed wits surpassing most kids, especially his memory, which stunned many a fourth grader.

At the age of 13, his parents managed to get him accepted at Edgesor Academy. There he was to study Races. and Amrad Lore. He soon developed a fondness for the vast amount of documentation about Amrad, both the old original Southern Grand Valley as well as the areas conquered or merged with it. Especially, he took a liking to comparing sources and seeing if he could discover errors.

In 1148, at the age of 47, after 34 years of studying and correcting, he finally decided enough was enough. So he left for the other country. Capitals of Findon. His credentials and introduction letters gave him easy access to courts and libraries. He spent years studying, commenting, and presenting cases in each, and then moved on to other important city.

At one of these case presentations and conclusionary defences, the Skjalds noticed him and began watching his presentations and how he handled critiques and false counterclaims. He was flawless.

Skjald Vinotis

 

After his inclusion in the Skjalds, he travelled all the Isles, and in 1197 SA, at an excavation site funded by Longhorn, the old centre pillar suddenly glowed, and a raging Mammutan appeared. Charging directly for him, but Coposim prevented any harm to the assembled by killing it swiftly. To this day, we have wondered why it targeted him, ignoring Coposim. It was almost as if it knew him in advance and thus charged him directly, despite it appearing on the other side of its Astral Site/Gate pillar.

Skjald Sigurd

 

In SA 1271, he met Yell'a'Beard, and they exchanged knowledge about the Kinoblin on their shared travel across a mountain pass. Maybe Kinoblin was not as new a factor to The Realm as we all thought; it turned out he was right.

Skjald Sejrik

 

Organisation

For many years, a Librarian and Sage. Then he became a member of the Skjalds, eventually their leader, and then left.

After several years as Skjald, he met Black Oak, whom he not only befriended but joined Ye Olde Zephyrs. and while there, he wrote legendary tributes and poems. After the warring between Hordes, he eventually left and became Skjald again—the only one to have ever been allowed to reenter.
